Origins of Coffee Book

Nespresso wanted to prove the luxurious nature of their product by showing it had uses beyond the sip and cup. To do that, I helped create, concept and write a recipe book—collaborating with Hong Kong’s finest five-star chefs and asking them to create luxurious dishes using Nespresso as an ingredient.

I interviewed the chefs, wrote and edited all the recipes (I am a former chef, so that part was particularly enjoyable), and also penned the book’s introduction, detailing the history of coffee. This let the customer experience how much of a mastery Nespresso has over its craft. From coffee’s origins to its modern explosion, it told the story.
